Architectural Fees
Our fees can vary widely depending on the scope of work, project type, location, and how much involvement you will require from the us. May architects base their fees on a percentage of the overall construction budget. In our opinion this does not necessarily provide a fair estimation.
In many cases, projects change their scope and complexity throughout design stages. Where this occurs, we will review the basis of our fees.

We appreciate that it is not always easy to select an architect nor to understand exactly how an architect can add value to your project. That is why we are more than happy to offer a no obligation initial consultation with us, in order to gain an understanding of your needs and how we might tailor our services to suit you.
We are happy to meet with you on site at your particular property* or at our office (we have a decent coffee machine and always happy to chat about architecture and houses). We are of course always more than happy to discuss things over the phone or email too! Unfortunately we no longer have a working fax machine.

personal attention of myself as director throughout all stages of design, documentation and delivery.
I have a direct hands on approach with all projects within the practice, no matter what
size or type. Whilst I am supported by a team of highly skilled and talented professionals,
we only take on a limited number of projects each year in order to ensure that I am able
to remain as the main point of contact for every job.
This ensures that your project will always benefit directly from the knowledge and experience that I have gained from over two decades working in architectural practice.
